Caring for older people in the community

Age Concern Crosby

Age Concern Crosby was founded over 60 years ago under the banner of 'Crosby Old Peoples Welfare'

to help and support the elderly of Crosby and surrounding districts.

Later we became Age Concern Crosby and within the year became a Friend of Age UK.

Our main object is still to support the elderly in our community with advice, luncheon clubs.

We are always looking for volunteers to help out at our clubs and also drive or assist on our vehicle.

We operate a Mini Bus service which we use for providing transport for members who are housebound so they can attend our Monday luncheon Club and join in with our various activities. We also use the bus for day trips and holidays.

Our costs are rising every year so we have three events per year to help raise funds and we are always looking for help towards our operating costs.

Please support our coffee mornings which will be advertised here and if you wish to donate time or funds towards our running costs it will always be appreciated.
